Well good luck we have changed our diet quite often as new things come out but can not have sweetener as what’s in them. Make us ill 🤢
Yes I have cut my sugar right back - I really have to think about every food I eat since fibromyalgia its so annoying - fell off the wagon last week and consumed a kit Kat - then was ill for two days (muscle pains, fatigue). - was it worth it - no comment !!! Neese. x
Hi
Im also doing the no sugar thing but I’m arthritis, high blood pressure which is due to some of my pills and I’ve also got fibromyalgia and on different site someone was taking about a book called
The 8 Week blood sugar diet
I’ve just received mine yesterday off eBay for 2.00.
Loads of ppl say it works.
So here’s hoping 🙂
Seems it's in nearly every product. It's like when I tried to cut out gluten I thought I was doing well but ended up hours in supermarket checking each item as it's in so much.I have one sweetener in my drinks .I used to have 3 sugars !
Why sugar? Is it supposed to cause joint pains or worsen fibro?
That's great info. I'll try it too then. A good sugar replacement is raw carrots. I find when I eat sweet potato with my dinner I don't fancy sweets.
Yea I do like to munch on a carrot there not always peeled an chopped when I fancy one and when I buy the prepared ones I end up forgetting about them 🤔
I stopped wheat/ gluten a couple of years ago and have noticed a massive improvement in fibro pain and fatigue. I still take a wheat treat once a week and it doesn't seem to affect me. However if I try to take wheat more than once a week , I immediately start to feel pain and heaviness/ fatigue particularly in my legs.
My next step is to try n cut back on sugar. I've heard it really helps
Hi sorry I haven’t been on yea I am still finding it hard to keep sugar out of my diet I crave sweet stuff but I have definitely cut down and see a difference in my weight which is a bonus trying to walk more too when my mess work (tramadol atm) ! Thanks for your reply x
Meds sorry not mess 😮
