Pain is ruining my life

Hi everyone

I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia nearly a year ago after suffering from joint pains since childhood. Not dealing with it well as the pain is so much worse this year.

I really feel for u and know how u feel I'm same joint issues since 11 and diognosed about 6 months ago with existing pains and new pains getting so much worse over past 12 months. It drives me nuts at times but most important lessons I've learnt is to be kinder to myself and not be so hard on myself for not being able to do stuff or at same pace as before. Also to slow down pace myself and listen to my body. Hope things get easier for u soon x

I've tried being kinder to myself. I've tried slowing down and resting when my body tells me to, but the worst thing I find is interrupted sleep and feeling completely knackered all the time. It never leaves me and I'm the type of person who needs answers!!!!!!😍

I get that i sleep quite well and still constantly exausted. Its a horrible complicated condition and fibro defo don't give us many answers to whats happening or why. I've defo not fully accepted diagnosis and want more answers cause I'm convinced i have other conditions that don't showing on bloods or x-ray. Hope we both get more answers and help sooner rather than later x

I understand your pain, been in pain since 2001,it doesn't get any easier, but stay active as much as you can and don't give up. It's not going to be easy but you can do it. Be encouraged and seek treatment possibly pain clinic. There are other sources out there, just do research when you can.
