duloxetine

h been took of pregablin and told to try duloxetine 20mg twice a day not heared of these before has anybody else tried these thanks x

Hi I have been on these started me on 20mg for a month then on to 40mg the following but I had to come off them gave me more problems, but each of us is different you can only try them and see, they were the last ones they say I could try so they could cut down on my other tablet but now they know they can't. thanks always nervous at taking something new this is the 3rd lot of tablets i have been on so fingers crossed loe and hugs x

Yes but sometimes you will do anything to get rid of the pain, just try them and see how you do let me know Love & Hugs Xx

I was on them for a very short time as they brought me out in big itchy spots and I had to stop them, so don't know if they would have helped.

I was on them and found them really helpful, I did wean myself off of them only because I don't like taking anything for more that a couple of years as I believe the effective them diminishes. I would be quite happy to go back on them and probably will after i have had my x-ray on my neck.

Duloxetine is one of the few dugs licensed as a fibromyalgia treatment as it has been proved to help in clinical trials. I take 90mg a day and find it fantastic at reducing the pain and my depression, caused by the pain. I also take 300mg of Pregabalin a day in 75mg doses spread over 12 hours of the day. Combined, the two drugs work for me and reduce the pain by 50%.
