Welcome to the FMAUK Community bub75 ! :)

You may wish to either visit your local Citizen Advice Bureau OR use Turn2Us Benefit calculator (online or via helpline) to discuss your finances and they will be able to let you know which benefits you are eligible for.

I would consider speaking to the FMAUK Benefits Advisor as Janet will be able to help with claiming benefits. All the contact information plus useful websites can be found in the post below;

As a newbie I've noticed your post is not locked to the community which means it prevents the whole thread being read by internet search engines. Again, all the information you need if you wish to lock your post can be found below;

Hope this helps

Hello bub,

I have just been assessed for PIP, as my circumstances are similar to yours. Even though dropped to 3 days a week, its still hard to continue working with this illness and employer taking me through capability process.

Have a look at the benefits info and see if you feel you could claim PIP

Best wishes... J

My X employers put me thru the wringers before allowing me to take early retirement on ill health grounds,, are you in a Union hun?? Would your GP and hospital medics support you thru an early retirement?? Its a long road, it took me 8 months with union support and a wonderful Nurse at occ Health.. for financial help there is a web sight that has a fictitious form to fill in to see what you might get help with- go to the right of the screen and look at "Pinned Post" clik on I want to claim ESA/PIP see if it helps ..
