Well been confirmed today by rhemo .he said ppl get better from fibro i dont know anyone that has .he gave me sleepin tabs and said sleep may help me .go back to physio which i found didnt help me .and visit pain clinic .its my legs which are the worse for me .i got retired from work on medical grounds and now have to have a esa visit .oh well shall see what happens

You mirror my sufferring with fibro hun- sleeping does not always help fibro infact you can wake up after 12 hours and feel crap! Ask the physio for help with getting hydrotherapy even if you have to travel to get some, i found it helps my legs enourmously..Ive also got a little gadget from ebay its a frame with pedals on and you sit and pedal away at your own speed it can also me used for upper body on a table.. Ive also got \ a TENS machine which I use around the home and in the car,, 3 years ago i wouldnt have entertained driving I was scared of not being able to move to the break,.. I too have retired on medical grounds, pain clinics??? depends on the staff and how well trained they are...

Thanks for that .was helpful what do you call that with peddles.i could have gone agea ago to a hydro pool but its at hosp and is to gar for me to walk from car park .hopefully will get a blue badge then can park closer x

All the papers/articles/info I've read say fibro is for life, it doesn't go away.

I'd imagine the patients this dr thinks recover actually give up going to the doctor as they do nothing to help.

Hi my mum was told by physio that as fibromyalgia is mainly a all over muscle and nerve disease having physio on 1 part of your body would just move the problem to another part of your body...amd you are better bring treated holistically all over the body

Thanks for your reply .i was seein physio for mths they gave up with me gave me walkin aids .maybe pain clinic will help
