I have had a esa assessment and gote o points I have been disabled for a long time and just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia the person who assessed me told l lies on question she asked me I'm in so much pain and carnt believe she done this
You can appeal
But ESA is not based on your illness as many disabled people manage to work full or part time .
Its based on what you can physically do or not do .
If you decide to appeal get some help with appeal
Thank you for that like you say some people can work unfortunately I do not fit or tick the box if was able I would but on top of other illnees I physical carnt I wish I could but unfortunately my iiness stops me I get fibro fog I'm in constant pain
Hi there is a lot of people appealing with the zero points issue and lies from some assessors it is crucial you phone today and ask for a copy of this assessors report your entitled to it and see if report is correct or any lies etc if any lies are on it please make an official complaint so this stops.phone today for that and also ask for a mandory decision you must do this before appeal there is a time limit for this.this will probaly go to appeal now it is a busy time of year you will have to get an appointment for cab etc this probaly take 3 weeks now you have to do this they will represent you at appeal.most people with zero points are winning appeals with discrepancies and lies and there is maybe going to be an enquiry on this issue.to make you except this decision or fight all the way do the esa self test it is facts and tells you if your entitled to it .it is not binding but will help you understood points system etc.you need 15points for ESA I see you have back and knee problems on your other post you do get a few points on the mobility walking issues alone.google esa self test and benefit for work will come up .try this it will help you understand.mind phone dwp today and ask for mandory decision and copy of report from assessors .good luck it is stressful once you get cab involved it will be a bit easier
Hi who is can I put in mandatory gote the decision they are not changing it so now gote go court tribunal I carnt believe they are getting away with these lies it is so wrong and inhumane I'm going to fight this for me and everyone else who as been effected by the way they conduct the assmements
You can appeal i did after getting no points & the judge gave me 18 points & i had it backdated & i have had anothwr assessment this year & am now in rhe support group of esa & not tge work focused group which anyone with fybromyalgia is just a joke....good luck.
I got the report of my assessment & it was all lies.......my last assessement i recorded & took a witness in with me just incase they decided to lie again!!! Be one step ahead of them.
Hi I gote the decision on mandatory reconsideration today and they are not changing it unbelievable I have called advise center so now I have to go to court tribunal go threw the whole thing again I suffer from high blood pressure and diabetes as well as osteoarthritis just diagnosed with fibromyalgia I'm usually a strong person but is effecting me mental I feel like I'm going to have a break down I can't believe they have not taken anything into account is the asserr and the fact I cannot physical be fit for work why are they being allowed to get away with this
My health is the same as you & it wasnt that bad......take all your paper work to you local citizens advice & they will fill it all in for you & once you have a court date which doesnt take long, they cann even have someone to go with you if you dont have anyone, it is so worth it i had esa given back to me & over £2000 in back date......
I was told at the citizens advice that the goverment have told the assessers to start lying to save money but if you go to the court there is an independent doctor that will look at your medical notes records appointments you go to & they assess you on the day & by the sounds of it you have all my symptoms i have fybro & arthritis in the top of my spine & lupus please be strong & take the bastards to court 😑
I have asked the doctor if my problems are Fibromyalgia but she said that is when it hurts to be touched...
a week and an assessment late January 16, she told me I had this illness and yes I have all the symptoms...
