Hi yes I had this issue where medications just lost their effectiveness and have ended up going on other medications and then they come ineffective and now I am on medications one down from morphine. One because my fibromyalgia has got worse and because my body got too used to the other medications they no longer worked

Yes. Co codamol can cause spasms . One can also develop a tolerance to this drug as it is an opiate. It is also addictiv4.

Can be addictive. Also sometimes the body needs new meds as the body reacts to things. Check with your doctor for others meds or a stronger prescription perhaps. Some people take gabapentin as a background med and codiene or tramadol for acute pain. Do there are options.

Unfortunately when you take tablets for a long time; your body starts to build up a resistance! I would speak to your GP and ask them if you can move to another medication xx
