I have lived with constant pain in my muscles and joints for eight years. Of the various tests and observations I have had I have still not been diagnosed with anything. Upon reading up on this rare disorder "fibromyalgia" I meet the criteria for around 90‰ of the signs, I was wondering if anyone had any advice for me. Thank you in advance.

As yet undiagnosed
hi darrengoz as I mentioned above a rumatologist diagnosed my fibro. after a full body scan x
I've had Neuro and rheumatologist tests and then left with fibro.
Hi there darrengoz nice to meet you and welcome to our group. Fibro is not a rare illness or even a new illness it as been around for centuries many doctors believe. What is rare about it is getting a diagnoses. There are no blood test or x rays to say we have it. It is a question of elimination of what we don't have as opposed to what we do have if that makes sense ? For many suffering this can take a long time before they get a definite fibromyalgia result.
It may help you to take a look at our mother site it has a wealth of information you may answers to some of your questions. fmauk.org. please make yourself at home and feel welcomed xx

Good Morning darrengoz
Unfortunately it takes a very long time to get a diagnosis with Fibro; it took me three years! I went to my doctor, told them that I thought I had Fibro and what could we do in order to get a diagnosis - this would be the best advice that I can give xxx
Hi darrengoz, you didn't mention which tests you'd already had. Having that information would better enable us to assist you in our deliberations That said, it may prove that something has been overlooked although it does appear to take an inordinate amount of time for most people to be diagnosed with Fibromyalgia once everything else has been ruled out.
