Hi guys I've been taking amitryptline ( u know wot I mean 🙄) but it makes me feel terrible....anybody else had problems with it??

What dosage and when do you take it? Any other meds ?

Know if I take mine anytime after 7.30 pm I won't be functioning well the next day. Maybe you need to take yours earlier?

Hi guys, I was told to take it 3 hours before I go to bed? Which is silly really as some nights I'm early to bed then other times I'm late so very hard to gauge it...been on 20mg

5 to 10mg had to stop.

I take 20mg at night for pain relief. If you take it too late in the evening it can make you feel groggy the following morning. A friend and colleague advised me to take it as early as I can so I'd say maybe between 6-7.30pm to see if it makes a difference. x

Just taken my 10mg ....It's 7.30 and the latest I dare take it.

Might be better to think of it as best taken about 12 hours before you want to be awake and with it.....but do take medical advice too ☺
