Hi all can I just ask if any one has had any problems with hearing ?? Over the last 3 months my hearing as got worse and worse went to hospital yesterday and they said yes my hearing is going. 😱 Is this to do with fibro ?? They took blood and did tests just needed to know if anyone else going though this ?? Thanks

I am not a medical professional but I certainly wouldn't say that if it is Fibro related that it is a common symptom.

I have been on the forum for over 5 years and had Fibro for 36 years and cannot remember anyone saying that they felt their hearing had got worse due to Fibro.

The sad thing is that no one really knows what is down to Fibro.

Ive had fibro for nearly 4 years but tinnitus for around 6 years. I recently had several bouts of vertigo and had hearing tested which showed I have hearing loss in one ear. Not sure its fibro related but its not the same for everyone. Hugs Joolz.x

When had tests they found mine going down in ranges heard but i can hear many noises but only if surroundings are quiet so if in a place where many say talking it just becomes a noise and struggle to hear what anyones saying etc

The lady at clinic said i can't see fibro effecting hearing?

I said it effects my eye sight (as find focus and changes of lighting like if see bright light that takes ages to go)she said yes if it effects eyes then it will effect hearing as muscles control internal workings!

Hi. I also have hearing loss but then again not sure if it is fibro related! Just another item to add to an ever growing list! I don't reckon much to the 'getting older lark' either! Suppose it's better than the alternative! Hope you all manage to have a good day today. Hopefully better than the weather lol! ☔️
