Update after visiting my doctor.

She is referring me to a new rheumatologist and a different hospital.

Thank you all so much for the support and suggestions. Hugs xx

That's great news, hope you get some answers.

About the pain in you legs, have you had your hips xrayed? I have terrible pain in my legs but it is 'referred' pain from my hips. I have severe osteoarthritis in my left hip, moderate in my right, moderate in my lower spine as well as 2 herniated discs in my lower spine. However, most of the pain I get is in my legs which apparently is very common.

Also, i would advise you write yourself a list of questions to take in with you when you see the rheumatologist , always useful.

I wish you well

Judi

Thank you Judipat, I definitely will take a list, it's the only way i can remember what i want to say lol.

No i haven't had my hips x-rayed for a few years now, i did ask my doctor if she could send me for one for my back as i am having more problems with my back than i ever had, she examined me and said i didn't need one as it was all linked to my fibro.

I'm hoping when i go to hospital i have new blood tests and X-ray on my back. Hugs xx

Hello Kath1952

I am so pleased to hear you have got an appointment with a Rheumatologist.

One idea is to keep a diary each day bullet pointing your pain, how bad it is, what your fatigue is like, sleep etc.

Take this diary with you to your appointment. Your Rheumatologist will find it very useful.

The consultant will decide what xrays are necessary.

Good luck with your appointment. Please don't forget to let us know how you get on.

Take care of yourself

Lu xx
