Yes I do even to the point that I sick up acid. There is so many things out there that you can get to help settle it down if you also speak to your gp they can prescribe something for you. It's absolutely horrible to live with heartburn. Take good care of yourself 🤗🤗🌹🌷🌺🌸xxxx

I do too. Mentioned it to my GP the last time I saw her but it got completely ignored.

I too throw acid up. When I finally manage to fall asleep it wakes me up and swallowing warm food or drinks agrivates my throat due to too much acid.

I feel for you clairep91 it's blinking rotten ☹️.

Lots of hugs to you xx

Hi there

Yes!! I have a hiatus hernia and get dreadful heartburn. In fact I have it right now!

I take Omezropole for it which kind of helps.

If it carries on it is worth speaking to your GP about it.

Wishing you a peaceful day.

Unfortunately I get heartburn pretty much constantly. It's rotten isn't it.

Do I remember you saying something about your job or am I going round the bend?!

Sorry to hear that my friend 😔

I hope your phone conversation goes as well as it can.

I also hope your flare settles soon.

My classic was putting my iron in the fridge! Sad thing is I only realised what I was doing cos it wouldn't fit lol 😊

Yes, I take Nexium for it - bit expensive but very effective. I always look out for it when on sale at various shops and buy in bulk lol. Taken once a day it prevents it, although I manage one every other day or so.

If this is happening often, do see your doctor who can prescribe you something which will be cheaper than buying over the counter.

My doctor will only prescribe a liquid kinda like gaviscon which makes me heave and is taken in response to heartburn and doesn't last long. The nexium stops me getting it in the first place which I much prefer. :)

Hello I take Lansoprazole on prescription which does help a bit. I have gastritis which causes acid reflux so I have Gaviscon Advance at night too. Having an extra pillow helps and also finding and avoiding the triggers like pastry, onions and the like.

Hope yours settles soon but see the GP if it continues or gets worse.
