Hi Jea60 welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences. I'm sorry you have FA and bedridden, it must be extremely difficult for you. I must admit, I've never heard if FA & found it very interesting to research it. You dont mention if you have fibromyalgia or not and just wondered if you knew this is a Fibromyalgia support forum.

Not that it matters unduly, as I see you are in a similar situation as a lot of our members, in pain, bedridden etc.so I'm sure you will make friends and get lots of tips and info about your condition. A lot of members that have fibro do tend to have other conditions, such as arthritis, diabetes, lupus, etc. I myself suffer with Polymyagia, Nerve damage in my feet and back aswell as Fibromyalgia.

Please do go and check out our mother site fmauk.org where you will get lots of info and useful links on Fibro. I look forward to chatting with you on the forum.

Peace, luv n light

Jan xx

Hi Jea60

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance.

I am so truly sorry to read that you live with Freidrichs ataxia, and I am aware that many of the symptoms are similar to both Fibro and MS.

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck and please take care of yourself my friend.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

Hi Jea60 my dad had Freidrichs Ataxia, he was always a very positive person and i think that was what helped him deal with his illness, i know it certainly helped all of us his five children and 6 grandchildren.
