new world of pain

I'm finding Fibro to be a whole new world where pain dictates my life. I'm a would be singer( choir) and am finding holding my music a challange but I try to sing if but forget even for a moment the overriding pain

Hi sgms welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.

It does help with the whole process and I wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs and I'm still learning about it, like we all are.

it must be very difficult for you to be able to sing when in so much pain. Have you been to a pain clinic, if not, your gp can refer you. The best thing for you to do is what you are doing, joining the forum, informing yourself, learning to manage your pain and pace yourself.
