Hi to all you fibro sufferers out there, I am a newbie and I haven't done anything like this before. I used to go to a Fibro/M.E group near to where I live but I stopped going because I am a shy person and I find it hard to mix. I have had it around 4years when I was referred to a doctor who dealt with people who has various arthritis he said the fibro was probably a secondary which was set off when I fell down the stairs 12 years ago.

Hello casbar07 and a warm welcome to our friendly fibro forum where you can get support, understanding, help and advice, along with a giggle or two to brighten the day.

Our mother site fmauk.org is full of information about fibro and contains guides and links.

I hope you will lose your shyness here and share your experiences and news. We are a great bunch and there is usually someone around to answer a query or empathise with your pain.

Fibro often accompanies other conditions, indeed it is sometimes difficult to tell which one is hurting the most!

I advise you to lock your post, particularly when posting personal photos as you will be seen throughout the To keep your posts private, (and all your replies too) follow these simple instructions

healthunlocked.com/fibromya...

If you have any difficulty just ask any Admin who will be happy to help.

Looking forward to seeing you around the forum.

Hello! Welcome to the group😊

Hi casbar - Did your doctor tell you what he thinks is primary, or is he just saying that the fall started it? My understanding is that trauma is frequently pinned to the origins of FM.
