Hi. For me, it varies. Some days are relatively good and only when I move am I aware of it. However, there are other days when it is constant, in spite of all the pain meds. Resting is the only thing that helps me. Most of the time that means lying in bed, but sometimes ok sitting in a comfy soft chair. Sorry I can't be of more help. We are all different and our bodies respond differently to the disease. In some respect you get used to it, but mostly you don't. We just have to learn to live with it. Pacing yourself is the best way to keep well, but even then, sometimes you can have a flare up for no apparent reason, such as the one I have now. I can hardly walk or move and it is very frustrating, but I have to hold on to the fact that in a few days, hopefully it will improve. Moving around gently is quite good. Staying still for long periods can make the stiffness and pain worse.

Good luck. I know it is difficult, but at least you are not alone. Just an after thought, it may be worth having a word with your GP. I have had to increase doses of various meds as my body starts to get used to them and doesn't respond any more. Sending gentle hugs.

Babsy_52 , It's not easy, I try and do a couple of things a day and take my meds as directed. On one day I will push myself to take care of my "have to do" things then rest the next day.Just my schedule.I wish you the best.Peck 🐤
