No sleep
Morning ellie sorry to here how you feel. You have not mentioned whether you are taking any medication. I am sure you will find some one on here to give you some advice. xx
Morning Ellie27 welcome to our lovely group. You will find us supportive, caring and helpful in anyway we can.
Sorry your struggling at the minute, it really is hard to cope with so little sleep.
Me personally I take Amitryptiline at night which really helps me sleep but there are a huge amount of members that don't sleep.'
Have you spoken to the doc about this.
Wishing you the strength to get you through today and hope you get some rest later.
Take care
Angie xx
Hi angie thank you I had amitrypitaline but I came out in a rash with it I was so exhausted I went to bed 9pm that night I started reading and that the last thing I knew till 12 when my son brought my bag of apple up to take with my tablets and sat up on the edge of the bed I woke up and it was 2 am I was still sitting up with my legs out lol I then took my tablets got back into bed opened my bag of apple and started to eat I woke up at 4.15 am with a piece of apple in my mouth I think I was rather tired also I became a grandmother for the first time I have a beautiful granddaughter called Isabelle rose who came 6 weeks early but is well xxx
You sound like you have bipolar disorder because you haven't slept much in 48 hours and your whole body feels like it's buzzing. Those are 2 symptoms that I have that distinguish my BP II from major depression. I'm glad you can help your aunt with her scary pet scan and I hope it doesn't reveal any major problems. If you were on the right meds for BD II, you would take a small part of your bedtime meds now so as to lower/eliminate the buzzing feeling. I think it may be time to see a psychiatrist.
Hi Ellie27
I am sorry to hear you are feeling so unwell. It has been proved that lack of proper restful sleep can increase the feelings of pain and fatigue.
I suggest you visit your doctor and discuss the option of meds to help you sleep better.
Good luck to your aunt for her scan, it must be a worrying time for all and this will not help your fibro either.
Fingers crossed that the outcome is good.
Xx
