Hi folks hope you had goodish day! New here, dropped by and signed up, have had headache problems for several months and can't sleep in bed any more. Also have some balance problems and pain in the neck. Over 21and adapting to life a little reluctantly! Kind regards Buntybunny.

Hello Buntybunny

Welcome to the forum :)

You don't say whether you have actually been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia or that you are suspecting that is what you are suffering from?

If you have a look at our mother site you'll find a wealth of information about Fibromyalgia on there, including a list of common symptoms fmauk.org

I am obviously biased but I think that you would have to go a long way before you would find a bunch of such wonderful people.

We all have Fibromyalgia or wide spread chronic pain and so completely understand what each other are going through.

We all do our best to support each other through the bad times, but equally enjoy a good laugh together as well.

If you need any help navigating the forum, please don't hesitate to let me know and I will be more than happy to help you.

I very much hope that you enjoy using the forum :)

Hi,

Still here folk, sorry for the delay, just adjusting!

Thank you for your kind, warm welcome! I have not been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, collected plenty of ongoing symptoms over the years. Just spent 8 weeks of near continuous painful headaches, painful shoulders, feeling weak, couldn't do my hair, take off my clothes, have a shower. What a mess I felt and very down! Have had osteoarthritis in my hips and legs for many years and rotator cuff tears. Enough background, hope I can add hugs and chuckles to the forum with a smattering of info.!

Resting a while before shutting up my chickens. Need a catapult on this chair! Moving is often hard, have a few goats and sheep to keep me active - time I gave up as it's getting a bit to much! I was 72 at the beginning of December.

Enjoy your evening folks, look forward to catching up and meeting you all very soon!

Hugs xx

Hi Buntybunny and welcome to our wonderful forum ☺I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you & talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro & learning from their experiences.

It does help with the whole process & i wish I had found the site years ago. I have had Fibro for nearly 30 yrs & I'm still learning about it, like we all are.

I'm sorry you are in so much pain at the moment. Have you recently been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia

Peace, luv n light

Jan ☺
