I have joined a choir.

I was feeling a bit low when I read an article about the joy of singing then saw an ad for a choir in streetlife. So I went for the taster sessionand loved it. 2nd week I was allowed to take a stool to sit on and when I ran out of breath I mimed☺️ But it was great. Really enjoyed it. So if you are lonely and fed up have a look to see if there is a community choir nearby.

We sang One Song by Barry Manilow and O Holy Night.

Very uplifting

Brilliant. Its good to hear good news. And glad its something you like. We do too much of taking up something because the medics tell us its "good for you", and not enough because we might actually like it :)

That is so uplifting.....I used to be able to sing but now I sound like Paul Robson!!!! I still love music though...all sorts except screeching jazz! Enjoy yourself......xx

Hi Icenae . For me singing, especially with a choir, is such a joyous thing, as you say so uplifting and it makes you feel on top of the world - for you and me anyway :D Do carry on. I have sung with choirs all my life until the wretched fibro stepped in. Still, I had the most wonderful times of my life when I was singing and no one can take that away from me!

Gentle hugs. Anna xxx
