Hello Sandra, I see you have recently joined our friendly fibro community and welcome you here. We can offer support, advice, information and help, with some lighthearted fun to brighten the day.

Have you seen our mother site at fmauk.org? Here you will find a wealth of information about fibro.

If your appeal for DLA or now PIP has been turned down, is it too late to put in an appeal?.

If this was some time ago, I would suggest you reapply, particularly if your condition has worsened or your medication has changed.

We are very lucky to have Janet, our Benefits Advisor , the details as follows,

Benefits Helpline 03009990055 10.00 am -12.00pm Mon-Fri

National Helpline 03009990055

May I suggest you lock your post? Unlocked posts can be seen over the whole of the internet and any replies you see will be unlocked also. Your personal and private information is available to anyone who types your username. We take security seriously here on the forum.

It is very easy and worth while getting into the habit every time you post.

If you look to the blue Pinned Posts on the right hand side of the screen you will see instructions on how to lock your post. If you are using a phone you may need to go to landscape.

By locking your post you will get more replies as some members are reluctant to answer an unlocked post.

You can see a locked post as there is a little padlock after the title. You cannot see this on the main home page, only if you click on the post.

We hope to see you around the forum and wish you a peaceful and pain free day

Welcome to the forum and it is wonderful to make your acquaintance. I am so genuinely sorry to read that you are feeling down my friend and I sincerely hope that you feel start to pick up soon. I was wondering if you have talked to your doctor about how you are feeling as they may be able to give you something that could possibly help you?

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

You can get the care part of DLA even if you can walk or struggle with it.If you was in the support group of ESA I am sure you would have better chance. If you could even get the lower part of care it would help and if you got worse you can then reapply.

You need support letters from doctor to help you
