Hi teakse. Yes brainfog is something I can definitely identify with. Did the Dr suggest anything which would help?

Its getting worse for me. She is top noch in her field. She is an DO in internal medicine. She thinks maybe some of my meds may play a big part in brainfog, let me know if you find anything out.please. thanks😀

Yes some meds do make it worse.

I think that you will find that most of us suffer from this maddening condition.

I do.

Yep I have to agree it is something we have to put up with when you have Fibro....sorry!

This is such a common and recognised condition and is called fibro fog.

It can make you very uncomfortable when you have forgotten important occasions or appointments, but sometimes there is a funny side, milk in the conditioner slot in the washing machine and conditioner in coffee, (I have done this!) and you will read many anecdotes of the same nature.

Sometimes it feels worrying, like losing your grasp on things and it could be a mixture of fatigue, meds or just too much going on to concentrate properly. Try not to worry too much but if it really bothers you, see your GP who will adjust your meds if necessary.

Hope this helps.

Hi there

Yes!! I think you will find that pretty much all of us suffer with Fibro fog to varying degrees and at different times.

Mine is worst when I am stressed for example.

I can barely get through a sentence without struggling for words. I also sit here for ages sometimes, because I can't get past the one word I can't remember.

It is incredibly frustrating. Yes, for sure some meds can have an effect but mine is definitely Fibro driven.

Wishing you much peace

Yes very common I'm afraid, always see your GP if it worries you, you should have tests done to rule out any other cause xx

Oh you, love inundated with response to that question.loads of us suffer this way, its like having dementia until you realise what is happening...don.t feel isolated. Lots of friends on this forum!

Hi teakse

Yes, I suffer with this from time to time and I perosnally think it is the worse part of Fibro? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.
