Hi Sanwyl74
What you may or may not be entitled to depends entirely on your circumstances. It would be difficult for any one on here to say without knowing a lot more quite personal details about your situation (things you probably wouldn't want to disclose on an open forum).
It will depend on your financial situation and what hours you work, how much you earn etc. Also it's not just what conditions your husband has but how it affects his daily life like his mobility and if he is capable of washing himself etc.
You are probably better off looking online or getting some professional help from someone like the Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB).
I've found a couple of links that may be of some help.
bbc.co.uk/news/business-117...
citizensadvice.org.uk/ (this page is for England. If you live elsewhere in UK don't forget to change the tab top left of the page).
moneyadviceservice.org.uk/e...
Hope you can get something useful out of that.
Gentle hugs, Margaret.xxx
ukmsmi4 has given you excellent advice. You don't say whn your husband had the decision on these benefits as you can always asks for a Mandatory Reconsideration if you feel the decision is strong but there is a strict time limit on this.
Of you go on the Forum site under benefits you will find a benefit calculato where you can put in your individual circumstances and it should tell you what you can claim. Good luck with it all.x
I can't understand why he's been turned down fir PIP and ESA. Would his GP be willing to write a letter confirming the diagnosis.
Is he under the care of the pain clinic? If so, maybe an associated pain consultant and/or specialist pain nurse could also write supporting letters.
I really think it's worth appealing these decisions, or if the time period for that has passed, looking to reapply. If you go to the CSA they will assist you in filling in the forms.
Good luck with whatever you cost to do. I really hope all goes well for you.
Take care.
Hi Sanwyl74
I am so genuinely sorry to read this and I agree completely with ukmsmi4 as ti will all depend on circumstances. FMA UK do have a benefit adviser and I have pasted a link to her (Janet) contact page below:

I want to sincerely wish you both all the best of luck.
All my hopes and dreams for you
