I too went to the Drs with other things and when she said I probably have Fibro I was also shocked, had never heard of it. Asked her if there was a cure. She then explained about it and although shocked I was slightly relieved to know I wasn't a Hypochondriac as I had felt like I was always complaining of pain somewhere. Anyway people on here know lots more than me about it so they will help you if you have any questions. Take care. x
Welcome to the forum. Yes it comes as rather a shock but when you have had time to reflect on it you will probably feel more positive as at least you know what you are tackling. Have you ahd a chance to look at our mother site Fibromyalgia Action UK as it has valuable information oin symptoms and treatments with both meds and alternatives such as acupuncture, hydro, etc. Look forward to your future posts.x
