Hi all

I thought I would introduce myself rather than just stalking the forum.

I have been unwell for a while but my gp pretty much out of the blue has told me I have fibromyalgia, and signed me off work for a few weeks.

It needs to be confirmed by a rhumatologist but looking at all the info it sounds about right.

It's come as a bit of a shock though

Anyway hi

  • Hi Aelin. Welcome to the forum.

I too went to the Drs with other things and when she said I probably have Fibro I was also shocked, had never heard of it. Asked her if there was a cure. She then explained about it and although shocked I was slightly relieved to know I wasn't a Hypochondriac as I had felt like I was always complaining of pain somewhere. Anyway people on here know lots more than me about it so they will help you if you have any questions. Take care. x
