Hi ELF

I'm wondering whether the post you are thinking about is the one that had a picture of different Yoga poses?

Other than that I can't recall a post about Yoga being given on the NHS.

Unfortunately, what your surgery/consultant/Pain Clinic can offer very much differs from County to County.

For instance, some areas offer hydrotherapy. It is not on offer in my area :(

Have you been on a Pain Management Course? If not, it might be worth asking your GP to refer you to one. That is the only place that I can think of that would be able to offer Yoga sessions.

I appreciate that it is not the same as attending a class with others, but you could always go on to YouTube and search for some Yoga sessions. Then you could do these in the comfort of your own home and it will obviously be free.

Not sure if that helps?

Wishing you less pain and more peace

Hi, I know you can attend pain clinics at local hospitals, and some use accupuncture to help. Also you can sometimes get referred for physio at a hospital. Some areas have hydrotherapy at hospitals, mine in hertfordshire was closed. Where do you live?? I can highly reccomend accupuncture and I have used pilates also. Hope this helps!!

Best Wishes

The answer is yes if they do it in your area. My friend is always late for our old girls meetings as she has to go to her NHS yoga class it is for arthritis and a strange form of lymphoma in her leg. As she says she never wants to miss it as she doesnt want them to make any excuse for tanking her off the list as she says it is helping her. Certainly worth asking about.x

Hi ELFLH74

I would contact your local trust and / or your surgery and try and ascertain if it is available in your area? I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you
