Me too, but Im finding so many things are changing in my body that I dont know what is what. I keep saying that it must be fibro but my wife said I cant blame everything on that. But I dont think there is any other problem. Yes my wind is a symptom but so is so much else. Just have to live with it.

Take care

Lansoprazole has increased this symptom but is needed so certain foods that cause bloat and digestion problems are avoided. Good luck finding a management regime that can improve quality of life.

I was wondering if you had IBS? Many Fibro sufferers do and this can cause a wind problem. I would discuss this with your GP and ascertain if there is anything that can give you for it? I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you

I agree with Ken, but maybe also get checked out for candida and parasites which causes wind and burps. I have just been diagnosed with that and it means no sugar, no wheat, no dairy, no pork - now what am I going to do about the Easter eggs???? I had a live blood analysis and could see the white blobs of candida and the parasites yuk!

Might be an idea to ask the doctor to refer you for a lactose intolerance test. This causes many symptoms that mimic Ibs. Flatulence is the first indication that you may have this problem. Good luck.

Especially if this is a newish problem and your meds etc haven't changed recently I would just gave a word with your GP. I unfortunately have always had this problem but have had IBS for years like many with fibro and the meds I take don't help matters. I also think the lack of exercise that has been forced n many of us doesn't help. Hope you can find the cause.x
