Okay everyone I've been experiencing spells where I feel like I'm sweating only on my face.neck area and upper back but when I wipe I'm dry. I went to doc my hormones are fine . has anyone else ever had this .

Yes. Strangely especially when I am in bed I expect the pillow and top of my PJ's to be soaked yet they are dry, very strange. Definately not my hormones either so have put it down to just one of the myriad of strange fibro symptoms.

There is a condition which many Fibro sufferers endure (myself included) which is called Hyperhidrosis, and it is just as you have described. I would discuss this with your GP or Medical Specialist just to have other medical conditions ruled out of the equation.

Hi Juju2016,

I remember having something similar and hormones check always came back 'within normal range'. I was having some fibro related symptoms as well as perimenopause symptoms so it was always hard to pin point the cause of the sweat/rush of heat/hot flush episodes. I won't ask your age, but if you are having hormone fluctuations as well as fibro related symptoms, they can each affect the other.
