Please remember that we are not medically trained and cannot give you a definitive answer.

To my knowledge Fibro gives muscle pain because of a fault in the nerve signals to the brain. There is no noticeable swelling. If your muscles are irritated by infection etc then there will be swelling and pain. With Fibro we just get the pain.

The good news for you is that if you have been diagnosed with muscle inflammation there could be a treatment and you won't have it for long. Fibro has no cure.

Please ask your dr what the cause of the inflammation is, what can be done about it, and to explain the difference to you. That way you will get a sound explanation🐸

Hi louisatrufelli

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? Fibro is not an inflammatory illness, and I have pasted you a link to our mother site, FMA UK which hosts loads of useful Fibro information:

I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.

All my hopes and dreams for you
