Is anyone watching the news, there has been a major terrorist attack and sadly many, many people killed and injured. Paris is now in a state of emergency, I think the UK will probably be on high security alert now. Sad times for the world.

Yes watching. I am totally dumbstruck. Worst nightmare coming true. These people are such cowards to attack defenceless civilians.

I feel so sorry for the victims. You are right can't help feeling that the UK will be next.

It does feel like nowhere is safe at the moment . Shootings in holiday resorts, planes blown out the sky, bombs all over the place, innocent peoples lives are being turned upside down, just so sad .

I guess the only good thing if there is one is that the attackers have all died too. I know there will be hundreds more to take their places. I feel for the people that died and the ripple effect that will now follow.

All our thoughts with the victims & their families.

We MUST NOT give any publicity to the terrorists their names That is what they are after . Just keep it to the poor civilians that get innocently drawn into this horrible time we live in.

Hugs to all

People anywhere will be wary of going anywhere where there is crowds ; restaurants...theatres....stadiums ..as these maniacs seem to cowardly go for defenceless people. YES...they could be anywhere. Maddimegan31.

What a horrifying story, those poor people in Paris. Truly a cowardly act to attack civilians in this way. My thoughts and prayers are with the families who have lost loved ones, the injured, the emergency services who are trying to cope with this. Everyone who has been affected by this crime against the innocent.

When will these suicide bombers learn, they are being used as canon fodder by cowardly criminals who never deign to put themselves in danger, but they just don't see it. They also don't seem to realise that the more inhumane and cowardly they are the less likely they are to achieve their aim of driving a wedge in society. Personally I think the more cruel and cowardly they are the easier it is to see them as nothing more than cruel, inhumane, soulless criminals and terrorists. The easier it is to see that it has nothing whatsoever to do with religion and everything to do with greed, power and control. Hence, the more it is likely to bind us together irrespective or race, colour, creed etc (in my opinion).

A very sad state of affairs all round. My heart goes out to the victims families.

I would be rather weary of go to London to do Christmas shopping now. If their going to do it here that's bound to be the target. I really don't know what the world is coming to, very sad.

My friend's daughter was married last week in Paris and my friends returned earlier this week. Their daughter and her husband are ok. I am praying for Paris and the world. I also told a local news station not to call the murderers at the Stade suicide bombers- call them terrorist murderers.

If you believe Your God wants you to murder innocent people, time to find a new God
