diabetes
As far as I am aware there is no link whatsoever between Fibro and diabetes. However, type 2 diabetes is associated with being overweight and inactivity, and many Fibro sufferers (my self included) do tend to put weight on through their medication and are naturally less active due to their pain. I sincerely hope that I have not sounded offensive in my explanation? If I have please let me know and I will delete my reply.
All my hopes and dreams for you

It can be connected: last week I was uber paranoid as my dad diagnosed prediabeties. My risk was high as I'm Jamaican with high blood pressure with it in the family: doc informed me my test in April was fine: may be tested again though.
Think fibro/cfs sufferers have glucose level problems. I'm not overweight and pretty active as it's only thing that helps the pain and my dad has RA not fibro but there is a link, 😉
Hi Jaja2014, earlier this morning, I was thinking about diabetes - and high blood pressure runs in my family - from Jamaica as well. I have high blood pressure but I tested all clear for diabetes recently. I'm worried because have put on weight. Have an appointment with my G.P on Thursday to discuss exercise and being referred to a pain management clinic. I understand about being paranoid. To have Firbro and high blood pressure is enough for me right now.
Fingers crossed for future tests - sounds like you are doing all the right things.
