Hallo Crackers

Normally the first port of call would be through your GP or Practice Nurse. Don't buy your own unless it is for very and I mean very occasional use as if it is not the right sort and the right height for you it can actually do more harm than good. I can remember having a long conversation with a senior nurse who used to work in the Occ The. Dept and she said she saw more people with back arm and leg problems caused through using the wrong height walking stick and using it incorrectly as there is a right and wrong way than she had had hot dinners.

Good luck with it.x

You can self refer in Wales direct to physio dept . If you have bad wrist pain make sure you mention it as they can give you wrist supports and Palm stick or crutch for bad days.
