I think that the Americans take Fibro more seriously than we do in the UK. Most of the information on Fibro that I have read is from the U.S. There appears to be an acceptance that our doctors don't generally have. Fibrocolors has so many inspirational posts x 🐸

Wow....powerful. I am now being compared to a wife of my husbands best Friend that got diagnosed with fibro. And because she is bipolar, now I am being compared to that too. So obnoxious how little people understand and know and the generalizations people make. How about I am highly sensitive, aspergers and had trauma as a young girl. I don't tell people anything anymore. I keep it to myself and only talk to my one sister who seems to have the same thingsl even my sister who is a pediatrician I don't say anything to anymore. She keeps calling it getting older. Funny because other old people don't have sleep disruption patterns. I remember her telling me it was normal to have 5 hrs of sleep a night when you get older. I don't think that is normal. I also had a rheumatologist tell me you just need a good nights sleep and you will be better. Want some sleeping pills?

I live in the U.S. It may be heard of over here, but not understood by many. People keep seeing the outside and saying, but you look healthy, ugh!

Pain on the inside cannot be seen.
