just a quick update in my journey
You haven't waffled at all but given us a good view of where you are now and the journey you have been on. I had to have a hysterectomy when I was in my very early 30's and to be honest it was such a relief after the pain I had been in and was one of the best things that had happened to me if you could ever say an operation was the best thing. I had to have my ovaries removed as well, it had not been planned at the time but they found I had cysts all over them which was the reason I had been having violent shooting pains up my back and kidney area supposedly.
I believe that itching skin can be a side effect of DHC Continus I must admit when I was on them I noticed my skin felt more itchy than normal especially at night so see how you go with that. Often these side effects happen within the first few weeks and then start to taper off.
I can understand with all your problems the feeling that you might have Ovarian cancer I am sure that the Gyno will put your mind at rest on this issue. Often with that form of cancer there are very little symptoms so it could probably be cysts in your case with what you have said.
It is difficult for families to understand how ill we feel sometimes. I actually said that to my lovely OH the other day as we are having to do so much because we are trying to move house and I was just at the end of my tether with fatigue and pain. He said he understood but of course unless you have actually gone through the process yourself it is difficult to do anything but emphathise so that is why this site is so valuable as fellow sufferers know where you are coming from.
Please give us an update on how you are. Soft hugs.xxx
I am so genuinely sorry to read that and I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck.
All my hopes and dreams for you
