Tired

So today I've woke feeling really tired and faint with a slight headache. But feeling rather guilty that I've had to phone in work and tell them I won't be in today as I just feel so tired and fain trying to explain to ppl is the worse thing ever and all I get well we feel tired. Should I feel guilty for being ill no but you just do and when u need to rest you do your body has that way of saying you've over done it . Does anyone else feel like this and feel guilty for not going to work ?

I feel guilty for being ill it's like no really understands I've cut my hour down only by 4 hours I feel horrible for letting them down and also miss the money as I'm self employed so don't get any sickness pay don't be to hard on yourself at the end of the day we didn't ask for this illness xx

I am the same, I have just been signed off work for 2 weeks as I am still in a lupus/fibro flare as its summer. I do feel bad letting them down but we HAVE to put ourselves first huny as we have to listen to our bodies. I too have been forced (by my health) to cut my hours x

I am so genuinely sorry to read that, and I do not personally think that you should feel guilt as when you are poorly, then you are too poorly to go to work.! I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.
