HERE IT IS AGAIN NO SLEEP...

I just don't know what to do anymore because of eplipsy fibro fog the fits I have are not controlled even with meds being awake for most nights about 5 out of 7 is no joy and the pain of numbness in my legs bad headache every day...... Been to the gp they say can't do anything for me because of the bad epilepsy it just seems to keep happening but what can I do going to see consultant next month seems like I have to carry on with it....... But I'm losing my mind at the moment and I just don't know what to do anymore but thanks for my fibro friends

Has your gp referred you to the pain clinic? They are very good at sorting out different ways of managing pain and low moods caused by our various health issues. It's a shame you have a wait before your consultant appointment. Do you take meds for your epilepsy? Can't understand why gp isn't able to give you something for pain that wouldn't interfere with your condition. Try to relax and rest if you can. Mx

I have read your post with so much pain and sorrow for what you are having to endure, and I sincerely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to these issues. I agree completely with md55, as a referral to a pain management clinic could be exceedingly beneficial for you?

Have you tried meditation? Just putting some music on and relaxing. Maybe a nice warm bath. I truly hope you can find a little relief.

I agree that there must be a medication to help with your epilepsy , with all the new meds they have. Also you should definitely try pain management .

I truly wish you the best, I don't sleep well at night either and get horrible leg pain from the fibro.

Thank you for all your replys... I am taking meds for the epliepsy trying some new ones now but have to wait for them to work with other meds I hope I don't get side affects as in the past..... They were terrible my wife went to the bathroom at night I was nowhere to be seen just left the house walking around in a post dictall mood... I will keep you updated on my position once again thank you very much my dear friends just for being here for me BOB.

I really feel for you. To have so much lack of sleep but add to that the epilepsy and pain!

Have you spoken to your GP about referring you to a pain clinic? I think they'll be the ones to help you.
