Hi everyone hope all ok just to let you know the dreaded brown envelope came only a week having my assessment, and I have been awarded standard rate for daily living and standard rate for mobility which to be honest I was gobsmacked, I am pleased I really don't want to go through all that again, so please to all the people who haven't applied or didn't get the decision they want keep on until you get what you deserve.
Sending big hugs xxx

That's great news, do you have any advice. I have my face to face assessment in 2 weeks, and I'm really nervous as the last time I saw an atos doctor I was turned down for DLA, had to go to tribunal where thankfully her decision was over ruled, and my DLA was reinstated, would be grateful for any advice x
Hi Hun first thing first you won't have anything to worry about, but all I can say is be yourself and tell them everything tell them what life is like for someone with fibro, how your life has changed and your not the person you once were, the pain you go through on a daily basis, how your restricted and can't do a lot of things, look nice but don't dress to impress, take someone with you, if your in a lot of pain that day don't try and hide it let them see for them selves what you go through if you have any walking aids take them ok, I hope this has helped you, and I hope you have a nice assoser
Thank you so much hun, will do like you said and hope that my assessor is ok, though I was advised by the carers centre that they are not your friend, so fingers crossed, and I will let you know how it goes. thank again for advice xxxx
