Petition to the Government

Taken from the petition site:

Have you heard of fibromyalgia? It's an incredibly painful, chronic condition that is debilitating for people who have it. But even though millions of people suffer from fibromyalgia, the government does very little to acknowledge this illness or invest in finding a cure.

Diane Bradley has fibromyalgia and started a petition to the government demanding more funding for a cure. She needs 100,000 signatures to get the House of Commons to consider her petition. I just added my name to support her cause -- will you join in as well?

Here's a link to the petition:

Hi

Have no idea whether I am posting in the right place, but want to say thankyou for letting me join this group. Feeling very frustrated and depressed at the present time. I have been off work now for the last two months and no further with any diagnosis. My symptoms are of fibromyalgia, I have had blood tests which are clear and awaiting results from an Mri Scan which will take another month to receive. In the meantime I am struggling with fatigue, pain, sleepless nights, the list goes on. I am on Tramodol but the pain is getting worse which makes me depressed and snappy. The doctor will not refer me to a neurologist till I get results from MRI. I can't afford to be off work for much longer. What should I do as I know I wouldn't be able to work at present.
