Tovi, Sorry you have the extra condition to deal with.
It may help to know many here also deal with one form of arthritis or another.
I also deal with an autoimmune type of arthritis. I have not had to use methotrexate yet. If I did have to try methotrexate, I believe I would want the injectable form over the oral form; however, my insurer would make me try the oral form first.
Hi tovi, i do not take this medication but i have been injecting myself for several years for migraines. You really do get used to doing it quite quickly, i almost do it in my sleep as i frequently wake in the night or very early mornings with migraines and the injection must be administeted imediately to work effectively. I hope this alleviates your fear somewhat.
sorry if my reply is a bit off-topic - I avoid meds like the plague; use homeopathy and tissue salts by way of self treatment only. (Had a spell of paracetamlo 4x2 daily recently but have stopped that now. Read the side effects first, is all I can say.
