Has anybody tried this, I. have just received my box of items today.

I can't start just yet as I am on anti bionics. (ha ha spelling mistake... bionics I wish)

Does it work better than the methotrexate tablets.

TBH I am a bit afraid of injecting myself!

Hi Tovi,

I have heard it's "more tolerable" than the oral form of methotrexate. I do not know first-hand and I am not a medical professional.

I've heard of methotrexate being used with autoimmune types of arthritides. Are you using in to treat another condition, other than Fibromyalgia?

I hope methotrexate helps you. :)

Tovi, Sorry you have the extra condition to deal with. :(

It may help to know many here also deal with one form of arthritis or another.

I also deal with an autoimmune type of arthritis. I have not had to use methotrexate yet. If I did have to try methotrexate, I believe I would want the injectable form over the oral form; however, my insurer would make me try the oral form first.

I truly hope you find your treatment helpful. :)

Enjoying your posts.

Hi tovi, i do not take this medication but i have been injecting myself for several years for migraines. You really do get used to doing it quite quickly, i almost do it in my sleep as i frequently wake in the night or very early mornings with migraines and the injection must be administeted imediately to work effectively. I hope this alleviates your fear somewhat.

sorry if my reply is a bit off-topic - I avoid meds like the plague; use homeopathy and tissue salts by way of self treatment only. (Had a spell of paracetamlo 4x2 daily recently but have stopped that now. Read the side effects first, is all I can say.

Best wishes for what you feel helps you!
