I believe fibromyalgia can affect all the muscles in the body and hence it is entirely possible that it can affect the eye muscles, making it difficult to focus at times especially when your eyes are tired. It is also possible to get "dry" eyes or "watering " eyes when there is over or under production of tears.
I also experience difficulty with bright lights especially when driving at night time.
However as Ian mentioned if you are at all concerned about it then maybe arrange to get an eye test.
My vision changes throughout each day. I have 20/20 vision when tested.
My optician says that the eye muscles can get weakened by Fibro, and this has happened to me I now need two different pairs of spectacles. I had my eyes photographed on a machine that showed my eye muscles has dipped in the middle.
I want to genuinely wish you all the best of luck.

Hi my eye problems were my first ever symptoms of fibro - I also have myofascial pain syndrome which 70% of people with fibro have, although they are rarely diagnosed. Because this affects muscle function everywhere MPS can cause blurring of vision and double vision, also changing accommodation of the eye, ie, the focus changes from hour to hour; also it causes eye pain, and those were my first problems. Because it had no other symptoms and my eyes looked normal they really thought they had a nutter on their hands! I had to dig out all of my old glasses from the past 20 years and carry them with me and then if I needed to read something I had to keep trying on glasses until I found a pair which I could read with - it was a real pain. Fortunately I was eventually diagnosed and because the symptoms wouldn't settle down, I had an operation (the same as for cataracts but I didn't have cataracts) and it seemed to solve everything - the rest of my body started playing up after that!!! I guess that if it doesn't settle after a few months, ask if you can have a second opinion with an eye specialist. But it might settle down. I did find that I had a knot of muscle in my temple and if I massaged that the eye was improved. Good luck x
