So I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia two years ago-- a diagnosis of elimination after spending the last 15+ years trying to get answers for my pain and other symptoms.
Things had been going along ok. Not great, but I was managing. Until last week I had seen my wife's surgeon (surgical specialties, focused on laprascopic bariatric surgery) about getting my gallbladder out.
During the office exam, she noticed some physical symptoms on my body and commented that it looked like textbook Cushing's Syndrome.
So for now my gallbladder removal is on hold and I have an appointment to see an endocrinologist to test for Cushing's. Doing my own research, it certainly seems to fit my symptoms a lot better than Fibromyalgia does.
Has anyone else had any experience with Cushing's?

I am so sorry to read that you are struggling in this way, and I genuinely hope that you can find some resolution and relief to these issues. I have only ever heard of one person in my life with Cushings Syndrome, and that was a long time ago.
I have pasted you a link to the NHS Choices cache on this:
