P.I.P.

Just wondering if anyone has asked their local M.P for help in getting their P.I.P allowance. After a mandatory reconsideration I received less points than the original.!!! Apparently if we wear elasticated clothing all our fibro problems will be solved.!! I am so annoyed, frustrated I really don't know what to do. I will appeal but my dad wants me to go and see our M,P. Who he knows as the whole process has been lies and leaving important information out so they don't give me the points to qualify. Thanks. Xx

Not personally as I was content with my award but friend has as well as my parents. Worth a try, that is part of their job description. Good luck

I think the best idea would be getting help from your Health Care professional because your MP is not professional to know or decide in health issue, ask your gp or sepcialist to write your condition with that letter you could attach that with ATOS (your local Borough Council - DWP) your MP won't have a right to increase or reduce your allowance - Good Luck!!

Hello,

I contacted my MP regarding my PIP claim, although it was about having the medical recorded and the fact I had to supply the recording equipment which had to produce 2 copies at once and could not be a digital copy. I only had to call him once, and he contacted both ATOS and DWP by phone and letters (Sending me copies of them as well), He got a local group involved and although he couldn't get the rule changed ATOS and DWP were made well aware he was involved. I personally believe it helped.

The more help we can get the better I believe.

Hope today finds you a little better today than yesterday.

Blessings Be
