0 points on medical assessment for esa but claiming pip and high mobility

I went for my medical, got report back saying I go out regular and able to walk to the shops. All bull. Iv asked for my decision to be relooked upon but there going to read the same report and then its court. This is the second time this has happened, last time got refused by court, reapplied got it. Im currently pregnant, 18weeks 3d, last yr had break down and worryed its going to happen again. My fibromyaliga and joint hypermobility have worsened as this (my 1st) pregnancy is going on. How can I get them to open there eyes, basically I cant. Advice plz thank u xx

Hi ashleigh, sorry to hear about your probs with esa, have you got an advice centre involved, they are much better at these things than we are snd know how to fill in forms and appeal on your behalf, good luck

Hi Ashleigh93

I am so sorry to read that you are having these issue getting your ESA, and I want to wish you all the bets of luck with ascertaining it. I was watching on the BBC News earlier that there are nearly 700,000 people awaiting assessments for ESA so the system is not doing well.

I am afraid that I do not know how you can get them to reassess you on this? But I do want to wish you luck.

Welcome to the forum you have come to right place for support and advice and I hope you will find us all friendly. I'm sorry to hear about this issue with ESA and you are not alone as many other members are experiencing similar issues too. I'm not surprised that you are concerned if you are pregnant and with your first baby. It is very stressful and I too have had a breakdown due to the DWP and benefits before.

If you can? try to keep strong Ashleigh and get some help from the Citizens Advice or Welfare Rights as it might take quite a bit of the stress off your shoulders.

Thank u, I will have a look at all links u have shared. It is stressful and im guna try and fight all my power to make them relize that us fibromyaliga patients arnt able to work and are in increaing pain and discomfort daily. Iwill try keepyou all dated. Im mow waiting to hear from my re decision maker, then probably apeal.

Did you say you were on pip?what they don't tell you is that sometimes if you can get your pip decision a copy of it and send this in,they should be able to look at it alongside your previous evidence, especially if the dates and diagnosis matchnup. Have you asked for a mandatory reconsideration? I would seriously seek advice from your local cab or welfare rights service and get everything inasap.

I am yes and get high mobility. Thank u, will ring pip n get them to send all paper work oit to me. Going to citizens advice this week. Yes im awaiting a decision from the mandatory x
