I remember many times when exactly this happened when me and my horse parted company as a youngster and they'd look at you in just that way, but of course they had just seen a fire breathing dragon in the bushes ........that was always the excuse for twirling round several times before depositing me on the ground then standing in exactly this way wondering what on

earth I was doing lying on the ground
