Hiya everyone this is my new baby Jess ! she's 9 weeks old and she's a German shepherd . My husband bought her for me as a early 50th birthday present ! Thanks for looking xxbillie and thanks Ken for the help x

aww! what a bundle of fluff! I love GSD's ......well actually any breed and mix of breeds; hence my name on here! lol. I love the quote; A dog is not your whole life,

but they make your life whole.

caputure her puppy stage in photos or video her if you can. we ( actually I was just supervising! lol ) sorting the loft and came across our old broken camcorder, I had 3 tapes transferred onto dvd for my birthday and we watched them last night; wonderful memories of my children at 2yrs and 8 yrs, tigger as a kitten (hes now 12) and my beloved dogs megan and lucy who sadly passed to rainbow bridge in 2008. and my sisters dear old dog amber, had tears streaming down my face..............memories are special. big hugs to you and jess xx

Hiya caninecrazy. Thank you for your lovely post it has put a smile on my face . I see your photo of a pug ! I have 5 pugs ! I am pug crazy and think their pugtastic he he . I live in scotland in a croft and have two horses folly and Hilda, not being able to rode them as I get punished that evening and for weeks after for one short ride, it's a total bummer . It's great having a puppy but it's having to get up in the night and early morning when your stiff and sore isn't so good ! But she's worth it .i hope your having a great and pain free weekend ! Never mind at least I am taking a week off work and I will enjoy that . I hope your having a pain free day today and a restful weekend. Wish I was Billie, I looovvveeee my bed, it my safe haven and so comfy with memory foam mattress, topper and pillow plus of course an ever willing hot water bottle in shape of the very small black and white person you see in my avatar. Mr B is also in attendance but on his fleece on one side of the bed but Poppie is undeterable in her quest for cosiness and I'm the spot she finds most cosy

I'm exhausted today, why? I'm not sure, possibly the weather again doing funny things, also a churned up about Mr B and his teeth op which happens tomorrow, bless him, he can't have any more food now until after it's all over. I know he will probably be fine, but he is 14 and anaesthesia is risky at that age. Ho hum calm down Foggy ........

Bless him - and you. If its any comfort Jack was still doing 10 miles on Dartmoor at that age and made 17. Frankincense hugs all round.

My JRT before Jack : in the middle of the night would come a panting and huffing from the foot of the bed. Merlin had sneaked in and overheated but would NOT get out from under the covers. Bless. They can all be subtle when they need to.

lovely, I wouldn't be without dogs, Ginny seems to know my every mood, when we have been in the car with oh driving if he drives in a way I don't like and makes me nervous she will start barking! she will come straight to me if I start crying. your new pup will bring joy to you all. xxx

Hiya mayrose54 thanks for your lovely post to me that's very kind of you. My dogs sit on the bed watching TV with myself and my daughter. Jess sleeps in my daughters room when I am on the dreaded night shift. She then has that awful job of taken her out for a wee at 3am he he poor katie well she's a teenager ha ha . Hiya roovwbeettle. Thank for your post it's so lovely when people contact me back . I always feel anxious when being in the car when the oh is driving , I think it's part of the fibro is anxiety . My dogs always comfort me when I am crying and that's quite often at the moment as I am always seem to be in pain in some place or other in my body, do you think it's normal for it to travel around your body this pain I said to my doc , the other day. She just smiled and oh yes that fibromyalgia and handed me yet another prescription . I wonder how many other people work with this illness , because I take my hat off to them . I hope your having a great weekend and no pain . Look after yourself xx Billie jess and my dizzy pugs
