Sprained intervetebral ligament

Hi all, I,be done this trying to get up off the floor. I know I should,t have been there in the first place! I,be been using my arms too much to get myself up from low places, and I need to rethink. In the meantime any suggestions on how to treat it? Thanxxxxx

Like the name by the way. You need to refrain from the movement that caused it and try to rest up a bit. With those sort of injuries often alternate heat and cold can help. You will be able to find out which one works best for you. A covered hot water bottle can be used or a heat patch and a covered ice pack or even a bag of peas for the cold therapy. Simple painkillers such as paracetamol combined with an anti inflamatory if you can take them but remember to eat something first so you don't do any damage to your stomach.
