You know it REALY seemed like a good idea to go out yesterday. Now im not so sure.

Beloved son wanted to borrow a stack truck to push me around on.

Then when we got home he spilt chemical all over the work tops and draining boards, leaving brown patches every where It`s ok mum its not poisonous.

I spent an hour trying every cleaning trick I know, finally coming up with a new one that worked. Lemon juice and sterident. Dont ever encourage your kids to take up science All scientists are round the twist.

fenbadger profile image
fenbadger in reply to

Yup. That's how we get things done. And annoy mum into the bargain :) Poor you. Could you have got him to clear up his own mess or is he too big now? :)

in reply tofenbadger

He offered to bring something back from work and knowing the type of chemicals they have there I decided to do it myself.

like I said scientist are round the twist. If he burns holes in the wortops in the lab thats ok its his lab

as 19. they do that in scandinavia too, to welcome spring. they bring in and suspend budding branches and hang chocolate, china and synthetic eggs, chicks & bunnies on them and around the house. lovely!

TheAuthor in reply tohamble99b

It does sound really nice! Mind you, several of the sites keep going on about this tradition of spanking a woman? This isn't anything to do with this 'wife carrying' thing is it?

My wife says I cannot go back on the sites to look! What a spoil sport!

Take care
