I have been trying to find one for the past 2 years. If I email someone they never get back to me. Help.

Hi emjane4465

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I genuinely hope that you can find a group in Lincolnshire and find a cosy and friendly group of people to share experiences together?

Whenever this type of topic arises, I always caution people to be 'Safety Aware'. If you are meeting up with folk from off the internet whom you do not know, always arrange to meet in a public place and always let a loved one know exactly where you will be or take them with you. Never deviate from your chosen venue and stay in a public place at all times. Since you have an illness some people may perceive you as vulnerable and try to take advantage, so please stay safe!

Then, enjoy a group meeting with like minded and Fibro suffering folk!

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken x

Hi ken. Thank you. I am still feeling a little down and in discomfort which is normal after my treatment at pain management because I realise that I am restricted and cannot do what a normal 21 year old can. Especially when I'm visiting service users and assessing their needs which do not seem as severe. I always have phones and a personal alarm on me for my job as a social worker/ community care officer due to the risks. I adore my job I'm so lucky to be able to work and go swimming before work. I'm having today off as I drove too much last week straight after my injections. Sorry for the rant ken. I hope your feeling well? Thank you for the advice. I will keep it on board just in case :) it did say there is on on outer circle drive at the ms centre in Lincoln and the next group meeting is the Wednesday but it's at 7pm at the time I'm getting ready for bed and the other sessions near to me are whilst I'm at work :( x

Hi, I'm in Lincolnshire too but down in the south near Spalding. No way I could drive to Lincoln nor you to South Lincs. Thank goodness for this forum and the support it provides. Best wishes, Pat
