Hi vixen49

I just wanted to say that I believe you, and I understand! I am sorry that you can't get anyone at home to believe you but we all, on this forum, know and understand exactly how you feel.

Take care

Thankfully I have a daughter (no. two ) who worked as a carer and has some understanding and tries to tell the rest of the family who remain sceptical. This six foot strong woman who worked all her life and ran the home on her own (widowed) suddenly not working and hardly moving some days wit pain, I can understand why they are sceptical because Fibro is a invisible disease, ask your children to go on the internet and research it for themselves its the least they can do, they usually believe what they see on the internet these days. I actually get more understanding off my five grandchildren than my own children, but then I have been poorly since they were born. Gentle hugs. xx

My daughter did believe me but often looked puzzled. Over the years since I was diagnosed I have built up a pinterest board with info and jokes regarding fibro , She started her own site a few weeks ago and that gave her access to mine. She must have spent some time on it because now she is more willing to talk about it and the puzzled look has gone. If only I could get others to read up on it. Or even take the time to listen. Hi Ros. How old r ur kids? Mine r almost 18& 14. I'm praying the probs I'm getting with mine is just teen hormones. Just how dead feeling do I have to be for them to get themselves up and walk to school? And why is it so hard to get them to do anything around the house? And why is it soo funny when mum gets her words mixed up? You have my sympathy my friend, hugs, Julie xxx
