Where the pain is. Is the skin hot or cold to touch?

Is there any pattern with type of pain ?

Mine is achy and cold to touch skin.

Mine is usually hot to touch the trouble is the receptors in my fingers are not good. I have terrible numbness and pin and needle at same time. But I think I am hot where the pain is.

Good morning Emjane 4465 I have a mixture, on my arms the pain is mostly On cold flesh, my hands can be cold or hot and still hurt either way, the same with the rest of me!

Funny, i wad thinkin this the other day. Fibro pain cold and achey, same as you. Athritis pain can be cold or hot an like toothache sooo painful. But migraines always hot and fiercely painful.

I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I think it all depends on the person and where the pain is?

As some have said, migraine is hot and fierce, numbness and pins and needles are the same, hand and feet pain can be the exact opposite and cold.

I always say though, if a pain is something new you should always discuss the issue with your GP just to rule anything else out, and to get some peace of mind.
