What is it?
It's a white owl

Don't think its real either . . .The white wire off to the right is a bit of a giveaway
What a sweetie. Surely his name is Plop.
I wish. Extracted from one of those amusing emails we get from time to time.
Do you remember a well known 'Watch with Mother' programme whereby an owl sang:
I am a very fat feathery owl called Sage
I sit in a tree and I get in a rage
NO PRIZES FOR GUESSING JUST COMFORTING BEST WISHES!
You seem to remember it well Ken! What was it ? I am puzzled was it Parsley and Sage I am sitting here trying desperately to go through the one I do remember.
Dream well!

You'll find mr sweeping up the leaves
Or tidying the lawn.
Hi Sandra and Phlebo. I won't say anything about age. You're as young as you feel. I think Fibro attacks new memories first and has trouble with older ones, so keep them precious. Dare I say it's like another condition in the headlines regularly? I had a friend with "Chemo brain" who displayed similar symptoms because the medication is a poison. I'm getting the same. Something a few minutes ago disappears but I'm re creating Ivor the Engine in my head right now.
Can you remember anymore, Ken/Sandra?
Might also explain my random posts. . .
Hi ... I remember "the herbs" also.... how old am I ????!!
Parsley... the lion,
Dill... the dog,
And the rather fat feathery owl called Sage!!!
Then there was Bayleaf the gardener, does anyone remember any others??
How strange is this "fibromyalgia thing"? I can remember all these characters from an old tv program... but can't remember what I need to buy at the shops!!!! Xxx
WOW! You have got a great memory for the past, but I am like you with the present as I cannot remember what I had for my tea?
Take care my friend
Ken x
Neither can I. Keep forgetting to take my pills, too wit too woo
Hi fenbagder - I hope that you are as well as can be? I had to laugh when I read this as I forgot to take my Nortryptaline earlier and your post has just reminded me to take it!
Thanks for that
Ken x
Morning fenbadger
That is a really cute decoration I agree that the wire is a big give away LOL
I would love to see how many people I could fool into thinking it was real though
Ah! The Herbs.............. have some nostalgia guys

xxxsianxxx Hope I don't into trouble for it coming up on the reply and not as a link
Thanks for posting the Herbs link Sian....... cheered up my morning, especially as my washing machine has broken down and having to resort to hand washing Why don't they make programmes like this anymore? xx
I'm glad you enjoyed it phlebo it had me chuckling
I say often that kids TV is not the same anymore the old ones are fantastic, I used to love the Flumps but not many people I meet remember them................. now I have the Flumps theme tune bouncing in my head xx
Morning Zeb73, ta for the link. I'll watch it when I get time
Ps. Afternoon actually, where does the time go?
That is soo cute - did you make it - itis rather brilliant!
No I didn't Mrs S. Wish I were that clever.
I seem to remember Lady Rosemary, Major Onion teaching the chives , and was it Lord Basil?
Something else I keep trying to remember to do. . . Been meaning to say I had the privilege of being taught by Oliver Postgate's brother. No surprise we called him Noggin. I used to take Ivor the engine tapes to Dartmoor to listen to. If not that it was a BBC Radio production of Hound of the Baskervilles
I had a dragon - Idris -who used to help Noggin the Nog in his train to fire up the engine, he was with me for ages and then VG (one of our lovely volunteers who has sadly left) borrowed him in
an emergency and I haven't seen him since. He was prone to the odd bit of misbehaviour , breathing fire at the wrong time and all that, but I'd love to have him home now, especially as they are telling us the weather is going to get colder............come home Home to Mummy Idris, the woodburner awaits you
Sir Basil, the chives, and a policeman.
It was Jones the Steam with Ivor. Idris is a proper welsh heraldic dragon who joined the Grumbly and District Choir. . . . . hope he comes back, bach
Dai Station. Mr Dinwhiddy. . . .
It is adorable, whether a fake or not. It made me feel all happy inside to look at it. But I'm confused, as the Sage in the video doesn't look anything like this. Was this just named after him?
