Virus going on and on..

Am so sick of this bug. Went down with it last Wednesday. Sore thoat, sneezing, lots of phlegm, no appetite, even more tired and sleeping more than usual. I got up yesterday and said hello to the downstairs in my house again but I'm back in bed again today and totally wiped. No energy and there's so much to do at this time of year. X

Thanks so much, Sue. I phoned my surgery to see if I could get some antibiotics which have helped in the past but the duty doctor wasn't happy to prescribe them, at least not yet. She said see how you feel tomorrow and come down to the surgery!! I told her I couldn't even make it downstairs! xxx

A huge sack of healing fluffies on route to you Kirby to help you heal in time for Christmas.

:) xxxsianxxx :)

Good evening Kirby,I also hope that you get better in time for Xmas.I was also worried a bit myself today about getting all bits done for Xmas as I felt so dreadful today but it's my own fault as I've been overdoing things and not had much rest :)

Thanks so much, Haribo. Very sorry that you've been feeling dreadful too. We can so easily overdo it this time of year especially. Please take care x

Hi KIrby, Like you I have had a virus and now a chest infection and am on antibiotics. I seem to cough half the night and, like you, I feel totally drained. I have had a couple of lie ins in the morning this week to try to catch up on a bit of sleep. I don't sleep well at the best of times with Fibromyalgia!!!! I feel the same about everything there is to be done…cards to write, still some presents to buy etc etc. We shouldn't feel under pressure but we do. I am sending you gentle ( germ-free!!!) hugs and I hope that you feel better very soon. Saskia. XX

Ah bless you, Saskia. Luckily I've not had a bad cough because I tried to get rid of the phlegm so it wouldn't go onto my chest. I've had pleurisy and bronchitis in the past so try and be extra careful. Awful discoloured phlegm though. Yes, you get in a panic when you get behind, don't you? I've managed to do some things today but still not been out for over a week. My sister has done some buying for me and done some things online too. Gentle germ-free hugs right back at you. xxx
